This holiday season, more than 75 Kinect games will hit the market compared to the 17 released last year. This includes new Kinect games such as “Dance Central 2” and “Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster” but also Kinect-enhanced Xbox games such as “Forza Motorsport 4.”
This new cloud-driven method for curating and analyzing massive amounts of patents, scientific content and molecular data. It uses techniques such as automated image analysis and enhanced optical recognition of chemical images and symbols to extract information from patents and literature upon publication.
“The reason why we made this move is because we realize from a product perspective there’s a level of integration that we needed to drive — how our client-type software work with server-side software,” said Kevin Dallas, general manager of Windows Embedded.
