Symantec Enterprise Vault enables organizations to archive data for long term storage, set policies to classify and automatically delete information and simplify legal holds. Enterprise Vault provides efficient storage of information so emails and documents coming from multiple content sources, such as Exchange, SharePoint and file shares, are only stored once.
This leaves enterprises with more bandwidth available for running critical enterprise applications or disaster recovery without negatively impacting employees. WAN optimization also significantly reduces the amount of bandwidth consumed by other enterprise applications, freeing up more room on the WAN pipe for streaming applications. Additionally, quality of service (QoS) policies ensures that video and other real-time traffic can be prioritized.
Also this Fall, New Pig will launch a unique site for each of its major distribution partners, such as Motion Industries and NAPA Auto Parts. These sites, built with WebSphere Commerce, will enable partners to view their specialty items and access additional information to help sell their products together with associated leak and spill supplies from New Pig.
