The Samsung SUR40 continues to capture the attention of industry influencers, from international businesses to media outlets. Announced earlier this week, the next-generation device was named a 2011 “Best of What’s New” award winner by Popular Science magazine and is featured in a special awards issue currently on newsstands.
The collaboration extends a long-standing relationship between the two organizations. In addition to the focus on expanding analytics curriculums, Northwestern faculty are also working alongside IBM researchers at the TJ Watson Research Center to explore material science, engineering and computing innovations.
The top-selling game in the country was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, published by Activision Blizzard for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Windows PCs. First-month sales of Modern Warfare 3 topped last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops by about 7 percent, according to NPD data.
