At ServiceU, we are using SQL Server 2012 to make significant improvements in the way we handle high availability and disaster recovery. The new product features allow us to do much more with less downtime and to more creatively manage our file system — all while seamlessly exposing the file structure to Windows.
The theme of this year’s DI2E conference is “Converging the Enterprise”. The USC Annenberg Social Sentiment Index is an ongoing project between IBM and AIL students to explore Twitterology trends, the moods associated with social media communication. Students are using IBM Social Analytics technology to analyze millions of tweets in order to assess public social media engagement and opinion from sports and film to retail and fashion.
